A last gasp winner from Beikhokhei Beingaichho handed Bengaluru FC a 2-1 victory over Sporting Clube de Goa on the last day of the season in the Aiff’s I-League, at PJN Stadium, Fatorda on Monday. Sporting Goa led 1-0 at the lemon break.
Four minutes before the break, Sporting Goa striker Boima Karpeh netted his 27th goal in all competitions to give his side the lead with a spectacular strike.
Changing over, it took Bengaluru until the 59th minute to find the equalizer when Robin Singh struck.
In the dying seconds of injury time Beikhokhei conjured up the winner to give Bengaluru all three points.
After the game, I-League Champions Bengaluru were handed the trophy.
